To book a shoot with Behind the Lens, follow these steps:

3. Confirm the Date

A photography agreement will be sent for your review and signature. A deposit is required to secure your booking.

How many images will I receive?
The number of images you receive depends on the type of shoot you book with Behind the Lens. Here’s a general guideline:
1. Sports Photography
Typically, 20–50 professionally edited images, depending on the event's length and scope.
2. Family Portraits & Special Events
20–30 images for mini sessions.
50–100+ images for full sessions or events.
3. Wedding Photography
300–700+ images, depending on the package selected and the event's duration.
We carefully curate and professionally edit each image to ensure high quality. If you have specific needs, let us know, and we can customize your package!
Where are you based?
Behind the Lens is based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and proudly serves surrounding areas, including North Carolina and the Outter Banks region. We’re happy to travel to your preferred location to capture your special moments!
Do you travel?
Yes, Behind the Lens travels! We primarily serve Hampton Roads, Virginia, North Carolina, and nearby areas. However, we’re open to traveling further for your photography needs.
Travel fees may apply for locations outside our primary service areas. Let us know your desired location, and we’ll provide a customized quote!
What is your turnaround time?
The turnaround time for receiving your photos depends on the type of shoot:
1. Sports Photography: 3–5 business days.
2. Family Portraits & Special Events: 1–2 weeks.
3. Wedding Photography: 4–6 weeks, depending on the package and coverage.
We ensure every image is carefully edited and polished before delivery. If you need your photos sooner, expedited delivery may be available for an additional fee.
